M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering(CSE) programme:

It started in the academic year 2005-06. The motivation behind starting the programme was the fact that the IT industry needs many software engineers, with specialized knowledge in Software Engineering and M.Tech (CSE) being and advanced level course open for CSE and IT graduates is well suited to provide needed technical manpower for Industry.

The duration of the course is four semesters. The Course work is conducted in the first two semesters, while the third and fourth semesters are dedicated for project work. The students thus have an opportunity for doing reasonably real time live projects and get fully prepared to readily take up assignments in the software industry. The present intake for the program is 18.

To meet the emerging trends in Computer Science and Engineering, strive for self-reliance enabled through high end research by adapting a futuristic approach.

To Place teaching / tutorial material of each subject on the internet to enable students to browse at their own place of learning.

To conduct summer and winder schools for faculty members and short-term course for technicians to widen their knowledge base and deepen their understanding of the latest trends and developments in field of Electrical Engineering
